GATE CLOSER OPPORTUNITIES Gate closers have become an increasingly popular and important part of our offer. We started with retrofittable gate closers for situations with existing hinges and have expanded our selection with solutions for gates still to be designed and manufactured. This has resulted in a range of gate closers for almost every possible circumstance, including wide and heavy wings in any material, (bricked) wall situations, swimming pool safety requirements and even aesthetic preferences. We already told you about the Venus, our first motorized gate operator on page 7, but we have a few other opportunities that keep your options open and your clients gates closed. CARACAL With a cost-conscious design, CARACAL is a 180° gate closer with adjustable closing speed. The glass fiber reinforced polyamide housing protects the high-tech internal components, allowing for a perfect functioning in all-weather circumstances. Works together with SERVAL spring hinge and is suitable for installation on square and round frames. The CARACAL is one of the components of our pool and child safety range and easily joins forces with our FORTIMA or GUARDIMA child-safe magnetic latch. As a result, the CARACAL is a perfect fit for swimming pools, playgrounds, parks and garden gates (see previous page). RAIL-FIT What about ornamental gates that don’t have a straightforward structure to which you can attach a regular gate closer, such as wings with unorganized diagonal bars? You can now apply the RAIL-FIT, a stainless steel accessory to install gate closers on alternative fencing. The accessory can be clamped onto any post to mount the rail of the PANTHER, LION or VERTICLOSE-2(-WALL) gate closer. EXTENDED PANTHER ARM We keep our eyes and ears open to improvements on our existing products. That’s why we were happy to launch a new feature to our all-round PANTHER gate closer, which already offered options for both post and wall mounting. Thanks to an extension to the length of the arm, you now have the possibility to mount the gate closer on the front side of your gate post if that is what your gate situation requires. LIONADAPTOR PLATE The LION came to the surface in 2019 as a compact and versatile retrofit option that closes over the full 180° range. With round posts being somewhat of a challenge, our R&D department have found a way to tackle it. The 3018LION is a black anodized adaptor plate that embraces posts with a 60 mm diameter, for an easier mounting of the LION and adding to its versatility and installation flexibility. INTERIO HINGES The NOSEHINGE-I is the accessory to adapt your adjacent gate wings to aesthetically match the pedestrian gate with an INTERIO inside the gate frame. These extruded aluminium parts with plastic covers replicate the look and feel of the INTERIO hinge set and make the installation process easier, thanks to the exact same distance requirements.
