The hydraulic self closing hinge Mammoth can be mounted on any gate, also on wooden gates. When fitting a gate with an entrance control system one should always make sure that the gate closes by itself when access has been given to a person. It doesn't make sense to invest in such a control if there is a constant risk of a gate that stays open all day. Thanks to the double ball bearing, the Mammoth assures always a smooth opening and closing which makes him compliant to all norms related to disabled persons (ADA, NPR...).
